Reveal
E-discovery suite: collect, hold, review, produce on SaaS or private cloud, plus ASK and aji on the matter corpus.
Chicago, Illinois · Founded 2008
- What it does
- Reveal is an e-discovery and investigations suite. You collect collaboration data through Onna — vendor-named sources include Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Box on Logikcull — run legal holds in Reveal Hold, then process, search, code, and produce against that matter corpus, not against Westlaw, Lexis, or a practice-management system. Processing covers 900-plus file types, OCR, translation across 160-plus business languages, and audio/video transcription. Reveal AI sits on the corpus: ASK answers plain-language fact questions with citations; aji runs generative first-pass review (full GenAI or hybrid TAR); Brainspace clustering and concept search surface themes. Logikcull is the simpler cloud SKU for in-house review without a specialist desk. Reveal Private Deployment runs the same codebase on AWS, Azure, private cloud, or on-prem. A CoCounsel Legal connector (vendor-announced for October 2026) pulls reviewed documents into CoCounsel alongside Westlaw — confirm availability with Reveal. Reviewers still validate coding, privilege, and cites. Not Clio write-back and not a published-law research product.
- Fit
- Litigation, investigations, FOIA and public-records, and legal-service-provider teams at mid-size to Am Law firms, corporates, and government running document-heavy discovery — including private, hybrid, or on-prem when multi-tenant SaaS is a non-starter — who already collect from Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, or similar. Fits shops that want Logikcull for lawyer-facing self-serve review, or Reveal Enterprise and Reveal Private Deployment for Relativity-class volume with a reusable AI model library.
- Not a fit
- Owner-led PI, transactional, intake, or practice-management shops. Skip if you have no document-heavy discovery and do not want an e-discovery database. Teams that need Relativity App Hub customization or a Relativity-native workspace should look at Relativity. ASK and aji are not published-law research products; you still QC relevance, privilege, and citations. Reveal Enterprise and private deployment are not month-to-month DIY review software — Logikcull is the lighter SKU, and even that is discovery software, not Clio write-back.
